Andrew, Sonny & Ollie | spring Wissahickon portrait session

Wissahickon portrait session dog tree

For valentines, Andrew gifted his partner Sonny a photoshoot with their dog Ollie. Our goal was to capture a family portrait, action shots, and authentic moments in the gorgeous setting of the Wissahickon. We got a warm day in early May, hiking down to the Thomas Mill covered bridge that was first built in 1737. I’m always thrilled to get to work in the Wissahickon Valley– it is brimming with beauty year-round.

Climate and Community Project | staff photoshoot in Philly

The leaders of the Climate and Community Project, a think tank for environmental research, gathered in Philadelphia for a staff retreat. We took group photos and headshots with various backgrounds at the Barnes Foundation.

Sarah | Rosenbach Library portrait session

I had been looking for an excuse to try out some of the new features in Lightroom, so I was delighted when my friend Sarah agreed to model at the beginning of March. She chose the Rosenbach Library as our location. We took some photos inside the gallery and outside in the garden in the rain. Sarah and I have been friends since our artsy middle school days when we used to take photos for Myspace and Xanga, so it was familiar and fun to experiment with the shots and manipulate the colors, verging on dreamy alternative realities while editing.
